About The Author


For over fifty years Donald Keelan has served the nonprofit community as an author, volunteer, advisor, trustee, board chair and donor. He has dedicated those years to helping those who serve, in both small and large organizations, achieve success and satisfaction while avoiding common pitfalls.

He is a CPA and spent six years on the audit staff of Arthur Andersen & Co., followed by two decades with a major New York City area real estate developer. While in New York, Don served eleven years as an adjunct professor of Federal Tax Law.

Donald and his family have called Vermont their full-time home for the past thirty years.
